DUTRIZAC STONES ATLANTICS, CATARACTS HANG ON FOR 4-3 FINAL.

The Cataracts and Atlantics hit the ice Thursday night for a big 2 points in the race for the playoffs. The Cataracts wasted little time lighting the lamp and jumped to a 4-1 lead in the 1st. Cat’s rookie Jaden Baptiste led the way with 2 goals while Greg Delano and Ryan Graves added singles. Atlantics Seyoung Kim potted his 2nd goal of the year. The Atlantics came alive in the final period when Dillon Beaton and Jeff Wong each found the net to trail 4-3. Cataracts netminder Evan Dutrizac stood on his head, making a number of game savers to frustrate the desperate Atlantics. Dutrizac and the Cataracts hung on for the 4-3 final, collecting their 9th win of the year. The Atlantics have now fallen into 9th place in the standings.
