MACK CAMPBELL SNIPES SHOOTOUT WINNER, SHUTS DOWN VIKING COMEBACK!

The Destroyers and Vikings hit the ice Tuesday night and battled it out for a early 2 points in the standings. The Destroyers came alive in the first period and climbed to a 4-0 lead. Drew Hooch-Antink led the way with 2 goals while Mark Keating and Jack Bing added singles. The Boys in Blue took their foot off the gas and let the Vikings back in the match in the final frame. The Viking fired back with 4 straight goals. Hunter Lively, Parker Manzer, Dan Page and Brett Estabrooks popped a goal each to tie the match 4-4. The game graduated to shootout and Destroyers netminder Dan Lohnes stood on his head stopping all 3 Vikings attempts. Destroyers rookie Mack Campbell scored the shootout winner in the 5-4 Destroyers victory.
