CATARACTS WIN GAME #1 FOR INJURED QUINN!
Cataracts defenseman Peter Quinn could be out of the playoffs indefinitely after suffering a serious cut to the forearm from an opponent’s skate during game #1 of the Ice Men Cup playoffs.
The hard rugged D-man was rushed to hospital where he received emergency plastic surgery to repair a major laceration, minor artery cut and stitches. We would like to thank the Ice Men captains, and all Ice Men players for their quick action attending to Peter's injury. A special thanks to Micmacs goalie Matt Clarke for his first aid knowledge and Stealths captain Mike Pappas for his support.
We are all so proud of Ice Men hockey and the sense of community displayed Thursday night. We all wish Peter a speedy recovery.
